The mishna says: Rebbi Yehudah Omer, Mevi'ah Al ha'Rishon v'Einah Meviah Al ha'Sheniah. According to the conclusion of the Gemara that he does not discount the 2nd incident when it would result in a leniency, why should have said that in the Mishna? Is not being pardoned from a further Korban also a leniency?

According to the Chachamim there is only one Korban. So Rebbi Yehudah, who needs a Korban for births 3, 5, 7, etc., is a Chumra; there is no possibility to bring for every birth, since the second is within the Melos of the first. According to Rebbi Yehudah, the third needs a Korban because it is after the Melos of the first.
