isaac asked:

what is chulin?

isaac, brooklyn , ny

The Kollel replies:

Chulin is the name of the volume of the Talmud that deals with the laws of Kosher slaughter. Chulin are animals slaughtered for general consumption, as opposed to 'Kodshim' that are brought as sacrifices in the Beis Hamikdash.
