There is a similar question in Avodah Zarah 52a-b. The Gemara discusses whether or not Tikroves Avodah Zarah is Batel regarding Tumah, because it is never Batel regarding Avodah Zarah. The Gemara does not answer the question.
There is definitely a strong argument to make that, especially regarding eating, it is not Batel. See Shevet Ha'Levi 2:50 and Divrei Yatziv (E.H. 68) at length.
