having trouble whether the machlokes between the above are related. From what I remember, everyone agrees Pchas Nveila Lnizuk(10:), R. Meir also holds Shvach Nveila Lnizuk(34:). How do we say R. Meir holds like R. Yishmoel here (36) if he holds himself that the complete responsibility of the Nveila & inflation or deflation in value belongs to Nizuk. R. Yishmoel holds he is Baal Chov established at time of Hezek? I can't explain question any better but I think I need a better understanding of these 2 Machlokes & how(if at all) they relate to each other or how they are totally different & have nothing to do with each other. The Machlokes between Rebbi Meir and Rebbi Yehudah is a question of how we assess the damage and the payment, and not how we carry it out. The fact that the amount that the Shor ha'Nizak appreciated goes to the Mazik according to Rebbi Meir is not because he owns it, but rather because we assess the Chiyuv at the time of the Mechirah.
