Rafael Aryeh Smith asks:

the gemara mentions a BRAISA, mentioning 4 people who died only as a result of the Snake's activity in Breishis.

Why wasn't Yitzchak included? I don't mean to bring up any dirt, but was there a sin he committed that I missed?

thanks...and I wonder if ANYONE brought this up. Rosh, Rif ron, Rambam, etc. I didn't see anyone ask it, so it must be OBVIOUS.

except to me.

The Kollel replies:

The omission of Avraham and Yakov from the list also seems to be odd. However, to answer your question, the Midrash takes Yitzchak to task for loving Esav, whom Hash-m hated.
