I remember hearing that the Vilna Gaon has a pshat on the last lines where someone comments that "Anavah" wasn't "Battel", as his existence shows "Haeika anah". Any idea where to find it?

The Divrei Eliyahu (Maseches Sotah) quotes a Sefer (from 1910) that claims "it is said in the name of the Vilna Gaon" that the word "Ana" does not refer to Rav Yosef (the one who made the statement) but to an Amora by the name of Rav Ana, who is mentioned in the Yerushalmi a number of times.
Presumably, Rav Nachman was discussing the same Rav Ana.
(We wrote some comments of our own on Rav Yosef's statements in the Insights to the Daf.)
Be well, Mordecai
