You ask a very good question, and unfortunately I do not have a

completely satisfactory answer for you. However, I would suggest

that perhaps Rashi preferred to write Levayah because we find

clearly mentioned in the Pasuk that Avraham performed this

Mitzvah (Bereishis 18:16), whereas we do not find anywhere that

Avraham provided overnight accommodation.
