Aryeh asked:

the gemarah quotes, "Abbayeh asked a question from Rabbah, if someone said to his friend, you lived with my daughter, and I brought you to court & you're obligated to pay. and the friend denied the whole thing", what would the halacha be according to R'Shimeon? do we say that since there was already a courtcase he would be obligated to pay bec. the payment was money or maybe not"

My question is as follows, what is the gemara asking doesn't R'Shimeon say in the mishna that we go after when the payment was collected & not after the courtcase?

The Kollel replies:

As you probably have realized by now, the Gemara on the next Amud writes that this question was asked in the Beis Medrash for twenty-two years! The Gemara writes that the Kenas of Ones is actually different from other Kenasos, which become obligations of Mamon payments by the courtcase.
