DAF DISCUSSIONS - KESUVOS 2

Benjamin Preminger asked:

What is the meaning of Rab Yosef's declaration of a "mishna not taught"? Does it mean to say that he thought that the mishna his rab brought wasn't really a mishna?

Thank you.

Benjamin Preminger, Santiago, Chile

The Kollel replies:

The Gemara concludes that Rav Yosef means that the Mishnah did not explicitly state the reason for its law in this particular Mishnah.

All the best,

Yaakov Montrose
