DAF DISCUSSIONS - BERACHOS 53

Howard Schild asked:

rashi says the flame is red white and yarokrok (green). This is similar to the colors of "the rainbow" in Zohar. Any connection and why not the scientific red, blue and green?

The Kollel replies:

Tosfos in Chulin (47a) and the Rosh there and many other sources write that Yarok includes both blue and green. As for white, science also gets white when it combines the three.
