Can the korban for Pesach Sheni be offerred all day long or just after the afternoon tamid like Pesach itself? Source for this ?
Chaim
Dear Chaim,
The Mishnah in Pesachim 95a lists the differences between Pesach Rishon and Pesach Sheni. (See also Rambam, Hilchos Korban Pesach 10:15.) After Chatzos is not mentioned there because regarding Pesach Sheni the verse says, "Bein ha'Arbayim" (Bamidbar 9:11), so it must be in the afternoon.
However, the point of whether the Korban Pesach Sheni should be after the afternoon Tamid is not recorded in the Rambam. Tosfos in Yoma (29b, DH Ela, toward the end) is in doubt about this (see Mishneh l'Melech, Hilchos Korban Pesach 1:4). There are many Acharonim who discuss this point; see Frankel edition of the Rambam for sources (Hilchos Pesach 1:4).
All the best,
