Doug Rabin asked:
Why doesn't the Gemara say that one cannot have relations during the day as described in the normative halacha? PS regards to R. Kornfeld
Doug Rabin, Clifton, NJ
The Kollel replies:
Shalom, Doug!
The Gemara (17a) tells us that it is permitted in a dark house and a Talmid Chacham can use a blanket or cloak as a shade.
Hope to see you soon,
Mordecai
