I notice that Rav Elyashiv amongst others say that today since women claim not to have hargosho there is no way one can be mattir kesomim. Also today they wear knickers which was not the case then, sinar is not that, it is always definitely from her. I notice also R Brandsdorfer and the Shevet Halevi also concur. I just wonder how todays rabbonim are mattir less than a gris and more on coloured clothes, there seems to be no heter whatsoever and also a dorayso.
I notice minchas pri (who also wrote a booklet in English on vestos with two years examples of dates looked at by R Bransdorfer which no one seems to know printed by feldheim) make a machlokes RAMBAM and others if the hargosho came before the dam.
I understand that the spasm comes when the dam exits the sponge it is held in and only afterwards exits the rechem which causes it to open but I dont think another spasm. So I dont think it is really a machlokes.

The Igros Moshe Yoreh Deah 3:46:2 writes that even if she knows for sure that the blood came from her; she is not tamei if it was less than a KeGris with no hargosho.
