Hi,
About 7 lines above the wide lines, the gemara brings its second pasuk to link "Eisanim" to mean "Avos". It says, "Shim'u Harim Es Riv Hash-m veha'Eisanim Mosdei Aretz". How do we know that "Harim" and "Eisanim" are referring to the same thing? The "Vav" in front of "Eisanim" makes it seem separate.
Thank you in advance!

There are many, many verses in Navi and Kesuvim where there are two phrases, one after the other, that refer to the same subject which the Navi wants to repeat or emphasize or describe in different words. The Vav is used to connect the phrases but is not a proof that it is dealing with two different items. (The Mefarshim often discuss the different elements of that one subject that is being alluded to by the different words.)
All the best,
