I was looking into this question on google and found this from you http://www.dafyomi.co.il/berachos/tosfos/br-ts-045.htm. Unfortunately the discussion was a bit too complex for me.
My question is: is there any halachic problem if there are two of us (Jewish men) and we do choose to do Mezuman? (I realise we are not obliged?)
and if it is OK, is there any difference in the wording (like the invitation?)

The Shulchan Aruch (Orach Chaim 193:1) rules that if two men ate together it is a Mitzvah for them to split up and each one recite Birkas ha'Mazon on his own.
However, this applies only when they both know Lashon ha'Kodesh. If one knows Lashon ha'Kodesh and the other one does not, the one who knows recites the blessings and his friend listens and fulfills his obligation. This applies if the friend understands Hebrew even though he does not know how to say the blessings.
