The Maharsha indeed asks that perhaps we do make the Zomimim into a Mitzri Sheini. The Chidushei Rebbi Akiva Eiger answers that Tosfos understood from the Kal v'Chomer of Bar Pada that it would also apply to a Mitzri Sheini (see his reason why at length).
