What is the meaning of "v'Sarei b'Yisachar Im Devorah"?

Rashi: Sanhedriyos who engage in Torah - "Yod'ei Vinah la'Itim" (Divrei ha'Yamim 1 12:33) - are always with Devorah, to teach Torah. The Yud is extra 1 and has no meaning, like "v'Kara Lo Chalonai" (Yirmeyah 22:14) and "Bahamos Sadai" (Tehilim 8:8).

Targum Yonasan: The greats of Yisachar heeded Devorah's words.

Radak: The Yud denotes the plural [even though it is not Samuch], as if it said Sarim. Also "v'Kara Lo Chalonai" (Yirmeyah 22:14) is as if it said Chalonim. (Why does Rashi say that the Yud is superfluous, and it is singular? - PF)

What is the meaning of "v'Yisachar Ken Barak"?

Rashi: Also the rest of Yisachar was with Barak, to do whatever he will command.

Radak: The entire Shevet went with Devorah, just like Barak went.

Malbim: Just like the Sarim who went with Devorah were Chachamim, and not warriors, also those with Barak were not warriors.

What is the meaning of "ba'Emek Shulach b'Raglav"?

1.

Rashi: He sent them on all his missions, to gather people and all needs of the war.

Radak: (He went by foot. - Malbim) He did not request an animal, amidst his desire for war.

What is "bi'Flagus Reuven Gedolim Chikekei Lev"?

Rashi: Reuven's heart was divided. There was much guile 1 ; he sat between the boundaries of the war (verse 16) to hear who will win, and he will be with him. 2

Radak: Reuven separated and stayed in Ever ha'Yarden, and did not come to the war; my heart has gripes against him.

Malbim: Reuven separated and stayed in Ever ha'Yarden, and did not come to the war. 3 This is due to great crookedness in the heart.

Targum Yonasan: Reuven told Sisera 'I am with you', and similarly to Barak.

Had the enemy won, would Reuven have joined him?! Perhaps he means that he would have accepted to pay taxes to him, without trying to fight him. (PF)

Malbim: The Shirah criticizes only Reuven and Dan. In the days of Yehoshua, Reuven went at the front, and Dan was Me'asef l'Chom ha'Machanos. Now they did not come, for only these Shevatim were not close to the war; Sisera could get to them only via passing through [the Yarden or] other Shevatim. (The other Meforshim explain that verse 17 criticizes [at least] also Asher. - PF)
