What is "Hashem Badad Yanchenu" referring to?

Rashi #1: It is referring to how Hashem led them alone 1 and safe in the desert. 2

Rashi #2 (citing his Rebbes and Targum Onkelos): It speaks with reference to the future - 'Hashem will settle them alone in the world that He is going to renew. 3

Ramban #1: 'Hashem dwells in Yisrael alone'. 4

Ramban (citing the Sifri): Hashem said to Yisrael: ' Just as you dwelt alone in this world and did not derive any benefit from the nations, so will I settle you alone in time to come and none of the nations will derive any benefit from you.'

Seforno: As the Navi writes in Yirmiyah, 46:28 "For I will destroy all the nations among whom I dispersed you, but you I will not destroy!"
