Why does the Torah see fit to state the total number of bulls (24), and (60) rams, he-goats and lambs of the Shelamim that the Nesi'im donated?

Targum Yonasan: The 24 bulls corresponded to the Mishmaros of Kehunah, the 60 rams to the age of Yitzchak when he bore Ya'akov; the 60 goats, to the sixty letters of Birchas Kohanim 1 and the 60 lambs to atone for the 600,000 members of K'lal Yisrael. 2
