Why does the Torah write "mi'Mishp'chos (plural) B'nei Menasheh"?

Oznayim la'Torah: Because the five daughters married men from both branches of the family - some married the sons of Machir, who received their portion in Eiver haYarden; and some, the sons of Gil'ad, who received their protion in Eretz Yisrael. 1

That is why the Yalkut states that the B'nos T'lofchad received a portion on both sides of the Yarden.
