1)

How will we reconcile this Pasuk with the Pasuk in 33:18, "Vayis'u me'Chatzeros Vayachanu be'Rismah"?

1.

Rashi (in 33:1): We see from here that Rismah 1 was situated in Midbar Paran.

2.

Ramban: The Torah is not telling us here all the stops. Perhaps there were many journeys until Kadesh 2 , from where they sent spies, but that all the stops until Kadesh were still in Midbar Paran. 3

3.

Seforno: Refer to 10:33:2:4 and notes.

1

Which is synonymous with Kadeish Barne'a, from where they sent the Meraglim (See Rashi, 33:18).

2

Ramban: This is not the same Kadesh as that of Mei Merivah, in 20:1, which is in Midbar Tzin.

3

Ramban: As opposed to the Pasuk in 12:10, where they left one desert and traveled to another.

2)

The Sifri asks whether there were two place called Chatzeros. What is the basis for this? From Kivros ha'Ta'avah they went to Chatzeros, and after Miriam was cured, they left Chatzeiros?

1.

Moshav Zekenim #1: We know that Yisrael were in Chatzeros. It could have written afterwards 've'Nas'u ha'Am.' "Me'Chatzeros" is superfluous.

2.

Moshav Zekenim #2: The Torah wrote earlier - in 11:35 "Nas'u ha'Am Chatzeros va'Yih'yu ba'Chatzeros". The last two words are superfluous.

3)

We know that Yisrael were in Chatzeros. The Toraht could have written 've'Nas'u ha'Am.' Why does it add "me'Chatzeros?

1.

Refer to 13:2:153:2.
