How were the Yetzikah and the Meshichah performed?

Rashi: Moshe first poured oil on Aharon's head; then he placed oil between his eye-lashes and joined it to them with his finger.

Why does the Torah not mention the anointing of Aharon's sons?

Ramban #1: It can be taken for granted that Moshe anointed Aharon's sons. 1

Ramban #2: It does not record it because it did not take place. Moshe sprinkled the anointing oil on them and on their clothes, but did not anoint them. 2

Based on the fact that Hashem commanded him to do so in Shemos 40:15 (see also Shemos 28:41), and as the Torah indicates later in Pasuk 13 (Ramban).

Since the Parshah in Tetzaveh mentions the anointing of Aharon (Vayikra 29:7), but not that of his sons. And when the Pasuk does mention the anointing of his sons (Refer to 8:12:1:1*), it really means sprinkling (See Ramban).
