How were the Yetzikah and the Meshichah performed?

Rashi: Moshe first poured oil on Aharon's head; then he placed oil between his eye-lashes and joined it to them with his finger.

Why does the Torah not mention the anointing of Aharon's sons? Moshe was commanded to do so (Shemos 40:15)!

Ramban #1, Moshav Zekenim (10) #1: It can be taken for granted that Moshe anointed Aharon's sons. 1

Ramban #2, Moshav Zekenim (10) #2: It does not record it because it did not take place. Moshe was commanded to sprinkle the anointing oil on them and on their clothes, but not to anoint them. 2

Ramban, Moshav Zekenim: Based on the fact that Hashem commanded him to do so (see also Shemos 28:41), and it says (Pasuk 13) that Moshe did like he was commanded.

Since Shemos 29:7 mentions the anointing of Aharon, but not that of his sons. When the Pasuk does mention the anointing of his sons (Refer to 8:12:1:1*), it really means sprinkling (See Ramban).
