What is the meaning of "Ad Emtza Makom la'Shem"?

1.

Rashi: Until he will know what will be the place of the Mikdash. Malbim - "v'Hayah ha'Makom Asher Yivchar Hashem" (Devarim 12:11). Initially, it was not known. (Refer to 132:2:1:1*.)

2)

Why does it say "Mishkenos la'Avir Yakov"?

1.

Radak: There were three Batim 1 . "La'Avir Yakov" is like I explained (Yakov's Strength, who helped and saved him in all his afflictions; refer to 132:2:1:1). According to what Chazal expounded (Yakov was the first to vow; refer to 132:2:1:1), there is no reason to mention it here.

2.

Malbim: After David will know the place, he will build the Mikdash there for Hashem to dwell on a fixed basis. He attributed this to Yakov, for Yakov saw in a dream that Hashem will dwell on the land in a fixed place ("Beis Elokim").

1

Radak (68:36): I.e. Kodesh ha'Kodoshim, the rest of the Heichal, and the Ulam.
