(1) The reason is because the Korban Pesach, during the rest of the year, becomes a Korban Shelamim. If it slaughtered she'Lo Lishmah, it is like a Shelamim that was slaughtered she'Lo Lishmah, which is Kosher and is not Meratzeh.

(2) This also applies to the Mosar Pesach (that is, a Korban Pesach which reached one year of age before it was offered, and thereby becomes unfit to be offered as a Korban Pesach), since a Mosar ha'Pesach no longer has the status of a Korban Pesach, but rather has the status of a Korban Shelamim (see Rashi DH ha'Pesach she'Avrah Shenaso).

(3) The Gemara (12a) concludes that the reasoning of Ben Beseirah is because part of the day is fit for bringing the Korban Pesach.

(4) Presumably the Korban is valid, even according to Yosi ben Choni and Rebbi Eliezer (see 3:A), since they probably agree with Rebbi Yehoshua who holds that the morning of the fourteenth of Nisan is not considered the proper time for the Korban Pesach (not like Ben Beseirah, see 2:A).

(5) This is in derived from a Derashah from the verses on 7b; see Chart #4.
