"KLAL" = One witness says, "He accepted 2 sets of Nezirus."
The other says, "He accepted 5 sets of Nezirus."

"MONEH" = One witness says, "He accepted 1 Nezirus, then a 2nd."
The other says, "He accepted 3 sets, then a 4th and a 5th."

WHEN ONE WITNESS TESTIFIES THAT A PERSON ACCEPTED 2 SETS OF NEZIRUS, AND A SECOND WITNESS TESTIFIES THAT HE ACCEPTED FIVE, DO THEY JOIN TO OBLIGATE HIM IN 2 SETS?

(1) According to Rav, and according to Rebbi Yochanan in the Yerushalmi, "Moneh" is considered to be a more contradictory testimony than "Klal" (see Insights). (2) It seems from the wording of Ma'arava that "Klal" is considered to be a more contradictory testimony than "Moneh." In the case of "Moneh," even Beis Shamai agrees that the witnesses join.
