SUMMARY

1. Rava says that according to Rebbi Yehudah, if one item becomes mixed with an item of the same type and with an item of a different type, it is nullified if the item of the different type is the majority.

2. If oil is placed on the Kometz of a Minchas Chotei, it is Pasul, according to Rebbi Yochanan. Reish Lakish disagrees.

3. If a Minchas Nesachim of Parim or Eilim becomes mixed with a Minchas Nesachim of Kevasim, according to the Rabanan it may be brought on the Mizbe'ach .

4. Rebbi Yehudah disagrees with the Rabanan. He maintains that if a Minchas Nesachim of Parim or Eilim becomes mixed with a Minchas Nesachim of Kevasim, it may not be brought on the Mizbe'ach.

5. If one offers less than an olive's size of the flesh of a Korban outside the Azarah, but the bone completes the Shi'ur of a k'Zayis, according to Rebbi Yochanan one is Chayav Kares. Reish Lakish disagrees.

6. If the oil is pressed from the Kometz onto the wood of the Mizbe'ach and the Kometz is placed on top of the oil, there is a doubt about whether it is regarded as a Kometz which is partially lacking.

7. If two Menachos became mixed prior to the Kemitzah, if it is possible to separate a Kometz from each Minchah individually, they are valid, but if not, they are Pasul.

8. If the Kometz of a Minchah became mixed with a Minchah from which the Kometz had not yet been taken, the mixture may not be placed on the Mizbe'ach.

9. If the Kometz of a Minchah becomes mixed with its Shirayim, or with the Shirayim of another Minchah, the mixture may not be placed on the Mizbe'ach.

10. Rav Chisda says that according to Rebbi Chiya, if one piece of Neveilah becomes mixed with two pieces of Shechutah, it is nullified. Since a Shechutah cannot become a Neveilah, they are considered two different types of meat. Rebbi Chanina disagrees.

11. Rav Chisda says that according to Rebbi Chiya, if one piece of meat from a Shechutah becomes mixed with two pieces of meat from a Neveilah, it is not nullified, because a Neveilah can become like a Shechutah. Rebbi Chanina disagrees.

12. Rebbi Zeira says that just as a Kometz of one Minchah is not Mevatel the Kometz of another Minchah, the Shirayim are not Mevatel a Kometz.

13. If spices were placed in the Matzah dough, the Matzah is Kosher and may be used on Pesach.

A BIT MORE

1. Rebbi Yehudah asserts that two items of the same type which are mixed together do not nullify each other. Nevertheless, if there is also an item of a different type in the mixture, the item of the same type is ignored and the item of the different type nullifies the first time.

2. The Torah states that a Minchas Chotei is offered without oil or Levonah. According to Reish Lakish, that applies only prior to the Kemitzah, not after the Kemiztah.

3. A Minchas Nesachim of Parim and Eilim require less oil than a Minchas Nesachim of Kevasim. According to the Rabanan, if they become mixed together, the mixture may be offered because objects which are offered on the Mizbe'ach do not nullify each other.

4. A Minchas Nesachim of Kevasim contains more oil than other types of Minchas Nesachim. Hence, if the two types of Minchas Nesachim become mixed together, one of them will have too much oil and the other will have too little oil.

5. According to Rebbi Yochanan, since the bone is attached to the flesh, it completes the Shi'ur. According to Reish Lakish, since the bone would not be placed on the Mizbe'ach if it would be separated from the flesh, it does not complete the Shi'ur.

6. The doubt revolves around the question of whether or not the Kometz placed on top of the oil is considered attached to the oil.

7. If a sufficient portion of each Minchah remained separate such that it is possible to take a Kometz from each Minchah separately, it is valid.

8. However, if it is placed on the Mizbe'ach, the Kometz is valid and the other Minchah is Pasul.

9. It is forbidden to place Shirayim on the Mizbe'ach. However, if it is placed on the Mizbe'ach, b'Di'eved it is valid.

10. Rebbi Chiya agrees with Rebbi Yehudah that two items of the same type which became mixed are not nullified. However, he maintains that if the Mevatel cannot become like the Batel item, they are considered two different types, and the smaller one becomes nullified, according to Rav Chisda. Rebbi Chanina maintains that according to Rebbi Chiya, if the Batel item cannot become like the Mevatel, they are considered two different types, and the smaller one becomes nullified.

11. A Neveilah can become like a Shechutah, because a Neveilah which is no longer fit for consumption is no longer Metamei. Rebbi Chanina disagrees. He says that only if the Batel item can become like the Mevatel, it is not nullified. Therefore, a Shechutah is nullified by a majority of Neveilah, but a Neveilah is not nullified by a majority of Shechutah.

12. According to the Rabanan, a Kometz does not nullify another Kometz because items which are placed on the Mizbe'ach do not nullify each other.

13. Since it still tastes like Matzah, one fulfills his obligation with this Matzah on the night of Pesach.
