SUMMARY

1. If a Minchah is not salted, it is Pasul, according to Rebbi Yehudah and Rebbi Shimon. The Tana of the Mishnah disagrees.

2. All Korbanos must be salted, including the Kometz of a Minchah, Levonah, Ketores, Eimurim of the Korbanos, limbs of an Olah, and an Olas ha'Of.

3. The blood of a Korban is not salted.

4. If one vows to bring wood as a Nedavah for the Mizbe'ach, he must bring at least two pieces of wood.

5. Rebbi says wood that is a Korban. Hence, when wood is brought as a Nedavah, it must be salted and Hagashah must be done.

A BIT MORE

1. According to Rebbi Yehudah and Rebbi Shimon, since the Torah states "Bris Melech Olam," a Minchah that was not salted is Pasul. According to the Tana of the Mishnah, since the Torah does not repeat the obligation to salt the Minchah, the Minchah is valid b'Di'eved even without salt.

2. Only the Kometz of a Minchah must be salted. However, the Minchas Kohanim, Minchas Kohen Mashi'ach, and Minchas Nesachim -- which are burned entirely on the Mizbe'ach -- also must be salted.

3. Although blood is the essential part of the Korban since it brings atonement, it is not necessary to salt the blood before placing it on the Mizbe'ach.

4. The Torah refers to wood as a Korban, and therefore one may bring wood as a Nedavah.

5. Rava says that according to Rebbi, Kemitzah must be done with wood brought as a Nedavah. Rav Papa says that according to Rebbi, one who brings wood as a Nedavah must also bring wood for the burning of the Nedavah of the wood.
