SUMMARY

1. Three days prior to the Nochri's religious holidays it is forbidden to engage in commerce with worshippers of Avodah Zarah. It is also forbidden to borrow from or lend to them.

2. Repaying or collecting a loan within three days of the Nochri's religious holidays is forbidden according to the Chachamim. Rebbi Yehudah permits collecting a loan.

3. The Mitzvos that Bnei Yisrael do in this world will testify for them in the next world.

4. In the future, Hashem will bring a Sefer Torah and proclaim that whoever occupied himself with it shall come and take his reward.

5. When a king and the general public come before Hashem for judgment, the king is judged first.

6. Hashem offered the Torah to all of the nations of the world before offering it to Yisrael.

7. Hashem placed the mountain over the heads of Bnei Yisrael. Hashem said, "If you do not accept the Torah, this will be your burial place."

A BIT MORE

1. The reason for the prohibition is the concern that the Nochri may give thanks to his Avodah Zarah.

2. Rebbi Yehudah says that when a loan is collected from the Nochri, he is saddened and will not give thanks to his Avodah Zarah. The Chachamim maintain that although he is said at the time of repayment, by the next day he is happy that the loan has been repaid.

3. When the Nochrim hear the testimony of the Mitzvos of Yisrael, they will affirm that Bnei Yisrael indeed fulfilled the Mitzvos.

4. Immediately, all of the nations will come together in front of Hashem. Hashem will tell each nation and its wise men to come separately.

5. The public is not judged first because it is not proper to keep the king waiting. There is also the concern that their sins will arouse the anger of Hashem and will cause the king to be judged unfavorably.

6. All of the nations rejected the Torah. Bnei Yisrael said, "We will do and we will listen."

7. This was an opening for the nations of the world who claimed that they were no less deserving than Bnei Yisrael, since they were not forced to keep the Torah.
