SUMMARY
If a person fails to bring a Korban Chagigah on the first day of Yom Tov, he may bring it on any of the subsequent days of Yom Tov. (1) The Amora'im disagree about whether there is a separate obligation to bring a Korban Chagigah on each day of Yom Tov for somebody who has not yet brought the Chagigah. (2) One who was crippled on the first day of Yom Tov and recuperated by the second day is obligated to bring the Korban Chagigah -- only according to the opinion that that there is a separate obligation for each day of Yom Tov. The Amora'im disagree about the law of a Nazir who became Tamei for a second time on the night of the eighth day of the first Tum'ah. (3) There is a dispute about whether Pesach Sheni is a separate Regel or only a make-up day for Pesach Rishon. A Zav who counted seven clean days and on the night of the eighth had an emission, followed by two emissions on the next day, must bring two sets of Korbanos. (4) One who fails to recite Keri'as Shema, misses a Tefilah, or fails to join his friends in the performance of a Mitzvah has incurred an irretrievable loss. One who reviews his Torah studies 100 times cannot be compared to one who does so 101 times.
A BIT MORE
1. It is permissible to bring the Korban Chagigah on Shemini Atzeres if it had not been brought until then. Even though Shemini Atzeres is regarded as a separate Yom Tov, it is still not too late to bring the Chagigah of the Yom Tov of Sukos. 2. Rebbi Yochanan: The obligation to bring the Chagigah is only on the first day of Yom Tov. The remaining days are only make-up days for somebody who did not bring the Korban on the first day. Rebbi Oshaya: There is a separate obligation on each day of Yom Tov for somebody who has not yet brought the Chagigah. 3. Rebbi Yochanan: The Nazir must bring a second set of Korbanos for the second Tum'ah. Chizkiyah: He must bring a second set only if he became Tamei on the eighth day, but not if he became Tamei on the eighth night. 4. According to the opinion that the nighttime is not considered an invalid time for Korbanos, even if the Zav experienced all three emissions on the night of the eighth day he must bring two sets of Korbanos.

BRIEF INSIGHT
The Beraisa says that one who fails to join his friend in the performance of a Mitzvah incurs an irretrievable loss. It is regarded as an irretrievable loss even if the person plans on doing the Mitzvah by himself. Since the Mitzvah that his friend performed would have been done in a superior manner had he taken part, it cannot be made up by his own performance of the Mitzvah. His own performance of the Mitzvah does not make up for the inferiority of his friend's Mitzvah that was caused by his refusal to join. (Netziv)
QUICK HALACHAH
If a person deliberately fails to pray one Tefilah, it may not be made up even at the next Tefilah. If he wants, he may make it up by praying a Tefilas Nedavah (and there is no need to add a new request in his Tefilah if he recites the Tefilas Nedavah at the next Tefilah). (Shulchan Aruch OC 108:7)
