SUMMARY
Rebbi Yehudah: A Neder made in public may not be annulled. (1) Rebbi Meir: A man does not mind if his wife disgraces herself by going to Beis Din for the purpose of the release of her vows. Rebbi Elazar: A man does not want his wife to disgrace herself in Beis Din. A woman is happy to be married even if her husband is of a lowly stature. All of the Mumim that invalidate a Kohen from the Avodah are considered Mumim for a wife for a conditional marriage. The Mumim of excessive sweat, moles, and bad breath are Mumim for a wife but not for Kohanim. (2) A large or hairy wart is a Mum for both Kohanim and a wife. A small mole on the forehead is a Mum for a woman. (3) If a woman was bitten by a dog and it left a scar, it is regarded as a Mum. If a woman has a deep voice, it is regarded as a Mum If a woman's breasts are a Tefach apart or are a Tefach larger than normal, it is regarded as a Mum. If a woman with Mumim is still an Arusah, the father must prove that the Mumim developed after the Eirusin. (4) If a woman with Mumim is already a Nesu'ah, the husband must prove that the Mumim preceded the Eirusin. Chachamim: If the Mum is in a revealed place, the husband may not divorce her without a Kesuvah. (5) If there is a bathhouse in the city, then even if the Mum is in a hidden place the husband may not divorce her without a Kesuvah. Raban Gamliel and Rebbi Yehoshua disagree about whether a wife is believed to claim that she was a Besulah at the time of the Eirusin and was raped afterwards. (6) If a Baheres preceded the white hair, the Nega is Tamei. If the white hair preceded the Baheres, the Nega is Tahor. The Tana Kama and Rebbi Yehoshua disagree about whether the Nega is Tahor when there is a doubt about whether the Baheres preceded the white hair. There is a Chazakah that a man does not marry a woman without first checking if she has Mumim. There is a Chazakah that a man does not make peace with the fact that his Kalah has Mumim.
A BIT MORE
1. Rav Nachman bar Yitzchak: A Neder made in front of three people is regarded as a public Neder. Rebbi Yitzchak: A Neder made in front of ten people is regarded as a public Neder. 2. Excessive sweat and bad breath are not Mumim for Kohanim, since it is always possible to find temporary remedies. However, a wife is constantly in her husband's presence and a temporary remedy is not sufficient. 3. If it is in middle of the forehead, it is not a Mum even for a woman, because it is readily apparent and the husband certainly was aware of it and married her anyway. If it is high on the forehead and is covered by a hair covering, it is also not a Mum, since it is covered. It is a Mum only when it is in a place that is sometimes covered and sometimes exposed. 4. If the husband wants to divorce her without a Kesuvah, the father must bring witnesses to testify that the Mumim developed after the Eirusin and that it was not a Mekach Ta'us. 5. Since the Mum is readily apparent, the husband must have been aware of the Mum and decided to marry her anyway. 6. Raban Gamliel: The wife is believed that she was a Besulah at the time of the Eirusin, because she has a Chezkas ha'Guf which dictates that she became a Be'ulah at the latest possible time. Rebbi Yehoshua: The husband is believed that she was not a Besulah at the time of the Eirusin because he has a Chezkas Mamon which dictates that he may keep his money and does not have to give her the Kesuvah.

BRIEF INSIGHT
THE AIR OF ERETZ YISRAEL Abaye says that one Talmid Chacham in Eretz Yisrael is equal to two Talmidei Chachamim in Bavel. Rava says that if a Talmid Chacham from Bavel goes to Eretz Yisrael, he is equal to two Talmidei Chachamim in Eretz Yisrael. The Rivash explains that the Talmidei Chachamim in Eretz Yisrael have an advantage because the air of Eretz Yisrael makes them wise. However, the advantage is mitigated somewhat by the fact that the Talmidei Chachamim in Bavel learn with greater depth. When a Talmid Chacham of Bavel ascends to Eretz Yisrael, he has an advantage because not only is he now being helped by the special air in Eretz Yisrael, but he also has the advantage of the greater depth of his learning. (Shitah Mekubetzes)
QUICK HALACHAH
MUMIM FOR A WOMAN A small mole is not regarded as a Mum if it is completely hidden or completely exposed. It is a Mum only if it is sometimes hidden and sometimes exposed. (Shulchan Aruch EH 39:4) Although, normally, Mumim on an exposed part of the body are not regarded as a Mum, if Kidushin was done by means of a Shali'ach and he was not aware of the Mum, even an exposed Mum is regarded as a Mum.
