SUMMARY
The cost of a Korban Re'iyah was not dictated by the Torah. However, the Chachamim gave it a minimum amount of one Ma'ah Kesef. According to one version, there is a dispute between Rebbi Yochanan and Resh Lakish about the permissibility of entering the Azarah on Yom Tov without bringing a Korban. According to the second version, their dispute is whether it is permissible to bring a Korban Re'iyah every time one enters the Azarah on Yom Tov. (1) A person should avoid having to come to the Beis ha'Mikdash for the purpose of bringing Chata'os and Ashamos. One may not use money from Ma'aser Sheni to pay for a Korban that he is obligated to bring. There is a dispute between Beis Shamai and Beis Hillel regarding the permissibility of bringing an Olas Re'iyah on the day of Yom Tov. (2) A Korban Olah that is brought as a Neder or a Nedavah may not be brought on the day of Yom Tov, even according to Beis Hillel. The Shalmei Simchah may be bought with money of Ma'aser Sheni. There is a dispute between Beis Shamai and Beis Hillel regarding the Chagigah that is brought on the Yom Tov of Pesach. (3)
A BIT MORE
1. Rebbi Yochanan: One may enter the Azarah on Yom Tov as many times as he wishes and does not have to bring a Korban every time. Reish Lakish: Every time one enters the Azarah he must bring a Korban. 2. Beis Hillel: One may bring an Olas Re'iyah on Yom Tov and may perform Semichah on the Korbanos as well. Beis Shamai: One may bring Shelamim and not Olos on Yom Tov, and he may not perform Semichah on them. 3. Both Beis Shamai and Beis Hillel agree that the Chagigah brought on Erev Pesach may be bought with money of Ma'aser Sheni.

BRIEF INSIGHT
The Beraisa says that one may not bring a bird or a Minchah offering for the Korban Re'iyah. The Rambam says, however, that one fulfills the Mitzvah of Re'iyah by bringing a Korban of a bird. The Kesef Mishneh explains that the Rambam had an alternate version of the Gemara that allows one to use a bird for the Mitzvah. Although the Sages state that we never find an individual who brings a single bird as an obligatory Korban, one who brings a bird for the Mitzvah of Simchah needs to bring only one bird, not two. The reason is that when one brings a Korban Re'iyah, it is not the only Korban that he brings; he also brings a Korban Chagigah along with it. Even though the Korban Chagigah is not a bird, since he is bringing another Korban along with the bird it suffices. Similarly, a wealthy woman who gives birth brings an Olas Behemah along with a solitary bird for her Chatas. Since she is bringing the Olah along with the Chatas, she does not have to bring more than one bird.
QUICK HALACHAH
There is no limit to the Mitzvah of Gemilas Chesed, even up to 100 times. A person should not think negative thoughts that the recipient of his Chesed is a burden on him, because he would not feel the same way about a person who is constantly disturbing him by coming to his store to buy things from him. (Ahavas Chesed) The Gemara says regarding visiting the sick that it should be done up to 100 times. Just as it is true regarding physical acts of Gemilas Chesed, Gemilas Chesed with money must be done up to 100 times. Therefore, even if one lent money to the recipient many times before, one is not exonerated from lending to him again. (Nesiv ha'Chesed)
