SUMMARY

1. If the Torah states two Klalos, one after the other, followed by a Prat, according to Rebbi it is expounded as a Ribuy Mi'ut v'Ribuy. The Rabanan maintain that it is expounded as a Klal u'Frat u'Chlal.

2. Rebbi Akiva maintains that there is no obligation to bring a Korban Oleh v'Yored for eating Kodesh or entering the Mikdash in a state of Tum'ah, if the person knew he was Tamei but was unaware of the Kodesh or of the Mikdash. Rebbi disagrees.

3. The Mei Sotah is effective only when the husband is free of sin.

4. Carrying an item on Shabbos from a private domain to a public domain is an Av Melachah. Carrying from a public domain to a private domain is a Toldah.

5. The term "Hotza'ah" is a reference to both carrying into a public domain and carrying into a private domain.

6. According to the Rabanan, the Nega of k'Sid ha'Heichal combines with Baheres to form a Nega the size of a Gris. The Nega of k'Krum Beitzah combines with Se'es.

7. According to Rebbi Akiva, a Nega combines only with the Nega that is closest to its color.

A BIT MORE

1. Rebbi expounds the entire Torah with a Klal u'Frat u'Chlal. However when two Klalos are written one after the other, he expounds it as a Ribuy Mi'ut v'Ribuy. The Rabanan maintain that the Prat is placed between the two Klalos and it is expounded as a Klal u'Frat u'Chlal.

2. Rebbi learns from the word "v'Ne'elem," which is stated twice in the Torah, that there is a Chiyuv Korban for He'elem Kodesh and He'elem Mikdash. Rebbi Akiva learns from the first He'elem that the Chiyuv Korban is only for He'elem Tum'ah and not for He'elem Kodesh or Mikdash. From the second He'elem he learns that one is Chayav a Korban only if he was aware of the Tum'ah at the beginning and at the end .

3. If the husband had relations with his wife after she was secluded with another man, it is a sin, and the Mei Sotah will not determine whether the wife had relations with the other man.

4. The prohibition of carrying into a public domain is stated in the Torah. Therefore, it is an Av Melachah. The prohibition of carrying into a private domain is not stated in the Torah, and therefore it is a Toldah.

5. Moving an object out of its place is called Hotza'ah. Therefore, even carrying an object into a private domain may be referred to as Hotza'ah.

6. The Rabanan maintain that the Nega of k'Sid ha'Heichal is a Toldah of Baheres. The Nega of k'Krum Beitzah is a Toldah of Se'es. A Toldah combines with its Av to form a Nega the size of a Gris.

7. Rebbi Akiva learns that Baheres combines with Se'es, because it is closest to its color, but it does not combine with k'Sid ha'Heichal.
