SUMMARY
1. If a field is fertilized with the fertilizer of Avodah Zarah, or an animal is fattened with feed of Avodah Zarah, there is a disagreement about whether the field may be planted and whether the animal may be slaughtered. 2. If sourdough of both Terumah and Chulin fall into dough and neither one by itself is able to cause the dough to rise, according to Rebbi Eliezer the dough has the status of the sourdough which fell in last. The Rabanan maintain that the dough is permitted regardless of which sourdough fell in last. 3. If a new oven was heated up for the first time with wood from an Asheirah, the oven may not be used. 4. If bread was baked in an oven which was heated with wood from an Asheirah tree, the bread is prohibited. 5. If bread baked in an oven which was heated with wood from an Asheirah was mixed with other bread, all the breads are prohibited, according to the Tana Kama. Rebbi Eliezer disagrees. 6. If a garment was woven with a shard of wood from an Asheirah, and the garment became mixed with other garments, all of the garments are prohibited, according to the Tana Kama. Rebbi Eliezer disagrees. 7. A barrel of Yayin Nesech was mixed with permitted wine. There is a disagreement about whether Rebbi Eliezer permits one to derive benefit from the wine after the value of the Yayin Nesech is thrown into the sea. 8. If a Nochri takes wood chips for firewood from an Asheirah, or he breaks off a branch or a shoot from the tree, the Avodah Zarah is nullified. 9. If a Nochri shaves an Asheirah for his personal use, the tree and the shavings are permitted. If he shaves it for the good of the tree, the tree is forbidden and the shavings are permitted. 10. If an Avodah Zarah breaks on its own, according to Rav each of the broken pieces must be broken again in order to nullify the Avodah Zarah. Shmuel rules that it is not necessary to break the broken pieces. 11. If three stones are found next to each other at the side of a Markolis, it is forbidden according to Rebbi Yishmael. The Rabanan maintain that it is forbidden only if the stones are very close to the Markolis.

A BIT MORE
1. According to one Tana, the field must be left unplanted until no trace of the fertilizer is left. The animal may not be slaughtered until it loses the weight that it gained. 2. Abaye explains that Rebbi Eliezer means that even if the Chulin fell in last, the dough is permitted only if the sourdough of Terumah was removed before the Chulin fell in. 3. Even if the oven is allowed to cool off, any bread which is baked in the oven is prohibited, because the first heating of an oven strengthens the oven. Since wood of an Asheirah was used to strengthen the oven, the oven is prohibited to be used. 4. The oven must be left to cool, and then it must be reheated with permitted wood before bread may be baked in it. 5. According to Rebbi Eliezer, the value of the wood of the Asheirah tree shall be thrown into the Dead Sea, and the breads are permitted. 6. Even through the shard of the Asheirah is still in existence, Rebbi Eliezer maintains that the value of the shard from the Asheirah tree shall be thrown into the Dead Sea and the garments are permitted. 7. Rav Ada bar Ahavah maintains that the wine is not permitted because the prohibited item is still in existence. Rav Chisda maintains that even in such a case, the wine is permitted. 8. Even if only a leaf is taken from the tree, the Avodah Zarah is nullified. 9. If a Yisrael shaves an Asheirah even for his own needs, the tree and the shavings are forbidden. A Yisrael cannot nullify the Avodah Zarah of a Nochri. 10. According to Shmuel, since the Nochri sees that the Avodah Zarah could not save itself, he loses faith in the Avodah Zarah and it is nullified. 11. If it is known that the stones fell from the Markolis, everyone agrees that they are forbidden. If it is not known and they are some distance away, Rebbi Yishmael rules the stones are forbidden because it is the practice of the Nochrim to make a small Markolis next to a big Markolis. According to the Rabanan, it is not the practice of the Nochrim to make a small Markolis next to a big Markolis.
