A BIT MORE
1. Rava: One must say it in one utterance. Rav Safra: Saying "Mevorach" immediately after "Rabah" is not that significant, as long as he eventually says the entire statement.
2. Accordingly, one must recite the blessing on the Lulav before picking it up (in such a manner that he fulfills the Mitzvah by picking up all four species, which is why some hold the Esrog upside down before concluding the blessing; see Tosfos).
3. One is not allowed to sell Shemitah fruit. Therefore, the Mishnah advises one to buy the Lulav and have the seller include the Esrog as a gift.
4. He may include the Esrog in the sale by buying only the Lulav, and pricing the Lulav higher than its actual value, with the Esrog given as a gift.
5. Since Shemitah fruits and their proceeds must be destroyed when the Zman Bi'ur (time to dispose of Shemitah fruit) arrives, the Am ha'Aretz is suspected of not disposing of the money at this time. As a result, the customer transgresses "Lifnei Iver" by purchasing from the Am ha'Aretz.
