The Mishnah mentions that the Seder plate is brought to the table. 4. There is a dispute about whether it is a Mitzvah to eat Charoses on the night of Pesach. 5. A BIT MORE
1. Beis Shamai: One first recites the blessing on the day, and then the blessing on the wine. Beis Hillel: One first recites the blessing on the wine, and then the blessing on the day. 2. Beis Shamai: The blessing is first recited on the holiness of the day, since that is the reason why the wine is being used. Beis Hillel: Since one does not recite Kidush without wine, the blessing on the wine should be recited first. 3. The Seder plate contains Matzah, Maror, Chazeres (that is, Karpas; a vegetable other than Maror is preferably used), Charoses, and two cooked dishes. 4. Tana Kama: It is not a Mitzvah. Rebbi Shimon: It is a Mitzvah. 5. Rav Yosef says that one should use two types of meat as a remembrance of the Korban Pesach and Korban Chagigah that were brought on Erev Pesach.
