A BIT MORE
1. Rav says that one may wash Netilas Yadayim in the morning with intent to eat bread the entire day. Rav Avina agrees, but some say that this applies only b'She'as ha'Dechak. 2. One may not wash his hands in an irrigation pipe (into which water is poured from the river, and the pipe takes it to the field), since the water does not come to his hands from Ko'ach Gavra, human impetus (rather, because of gravity). One may wash (in the pipe) near the place into which water is poured, since the impetus of the water is primarily from the man who poured it. 3. If there is a hole, large enough to let in water, in the vessel used to pour water, and water drips into a proper Mikvah, the dripping water connects the water in the pipe to the water in the Mikvah. A vessel that has a hole large enough to allow water in is Pasul for Netilas Yadayim. 4. A proper vessel for Netilas Yadayim must be able to hold a Revi'is, which is the amount of water required for Netilas Yadayim. If the vessel holds one Revi'is, two people may wash at the same time from that vessel, since the second person's water comes from the remains of a Revi'is. 5. Netilas Yadayim requires a proper vessel. A barrel stopper that is carved to hold a Revi'is is valid. A leather water pouch is considered a proper vessel. Bags and boxes are not. 6. Eating Chulin with covered hands does not exempt the person from Netilas Yadayim. However, Terumah may be eaten with covered hands, because Kohanim are Zerizim and more careful. 7. When one person feeds another person, the person eating must wash Netilas Yadayim, but not the person feeding him. 8. A man may wrap meat and cheese in the same cloth, as long as they do not touch each other. Two strangers may eat at the same table, one meat and the other cheese, and there is no concern that they will share their food with each other. 9. When meat and cheese that are both cold touch each other, they need to be washed off. 10. Two strangers may eat meet and cheese together on one table, but two brothers may not, even if they do not get along with each other.
