SUMMARY
1. If the Shirayim of a Minchah became Tamei, burned, or lost prior to the Haktarah of the Kometz, the Kometz may be placed on the Mizbe'ach, according to Rebbi Eliezer. Rebbi Yehoshua disagrees. 2. Rebbi Yehoshua says the blood of a Korban may be placed on the Mizbe'ach only when at least an olive's size of the flesh or the Eimurim are in existence. 3. If half an olive's size of flesh and half an olive's size of the Eimurim of a Korban remain in existence, the blood may not be placed on the Mizbe'ach, according to Rebbi Yehoshua. 4. If the Kometz is not sanctified in a Kli Shares after the Kemiztah, it is Pasul according to the Tana Kama. Rebbi Shimon disagrees. 5. Rav Yehudah the son of Rebbi Chiya says that according to Rebbi Shimon, if the Kohen brings the Kometz and burns it on the Mizbe'ach by hand, he must do so with his right hand, but if he uses a Kli, he may use his left hand. 6. Rebbi Yanai says that according to Rebbi Shimon, the Kohen may bring the Kometz to the Mizbe'ach in his belt or in an earthenware vessel. 7. Rav Nachman bar Yitzchak says that even according to Rebbi Shimon, the Kometz must be sanctified in a Kli Shares. 8. If the Kohen performs Kemitzah with his right hand and subsequently places the Kometz in his left hand, he must return it to his right hand, according to Rebbi Elazar and Rebbi Shimon. 9. If the Kohen has a Machshavas Pigul while the Kometz is in his left hand, the Minchah is Pasul, but it is not Pigul. One who eats from it is not Chayav Kares. 10. The Chachamim say that if the Kohen performs Kemitzah with his right hand and then places the Kometz in his left hand, it is Pasul. 11. Rebbi Yehoshua ben Levi says that the Kometz may be placed on the Mizbe'ach in two parts, but not in more. Rebbi Yochanan says that it may be placed on the Mizbe'ach in many parts. 12. Rebbi Chanina says that the Shiryaim of a Minchah may be eaten by the Kohanim as soon as the fire on the Mizbe'ach partially has consumed the Kometz. Rebbi Yochanan says the Shirayim may be eaten by the Kohanim only when the majority of the Kometz is consumed by the fire. 13. Rebbi Elazar and Rebbi Yanai say that if the Kometz or the Levonah was placed on the Mizbe'ach and was expelled from the Mizbe'ach by the fire, it may be returned to the Mizbe'ach even after nightfall. 14. If the limbs of an Olah were placed on the Mizbe'ach and the wood of the Ma'arachah was placed on top of them, or if the limbs were placed next to the wood of the Ma'arachah, there is a doubt about whether it is valid.

A BIT MORE
1. According to Rebbi Yehoshua, the Kometz may be placed on the Mizbe'ach only if some of the Shirayim is still in existence. 2. However, if only the Minchas Nesachim remains, the blood may not be placed on the Mizbe'ach. 3. However, in the case of a Korban Olah, if half an olive's size of flesh and half an olive's size of Chelev remain, the blood may be placed on the Mizbe'ach, because an Olah is entirely consumed on the Mizbe'ach. 4. Everyone agrees that when the Minchah is brought into the Azarah, it must be placed into a Kli Shares. 5. The Torah compares a Minchah to a Chatas and an Asham. If the Kohen is Maktir the Kometz with his hand, he must use his right hand, just as the Zerikas ha'Dam of a Chatas must be done with the Kohen's right hand. However, if he burns the Kometz with a Kli, he may use his left hand, just as the Zerikas ha'Dam of an Asham which is done with a Kli may be done with the Kohen's left hand. 6. According to Rebbi Yanai, even if the Kometz is brought to the Mizbe'ach by hand, it is not necessary for the Kohen to bring it in his right hand. 7. According to Rav Nachman bar Yitzchak, Rebbi Shimon agrees with the Rabanan that the Kometz must be placed in a Kli Shares. He says that it may be taken out of the Kli Shares and brought to the Mizbe'ach by hand. 8. According to the Tana of this Beraisa, Rebbi Elazar and Rebbi Shimon assert that if the Kometz is brought to the Mizbe'ach in the hand of the Kohen, it must be brought in the right hand. However, if it is placed temporarily in the left hand of the Kohen, it does not become Pasul. Since Rebbi Shimon does not require the Kometz to be sanctified in a Kli Shares, it is akin to the blood of a Korban spilling on the floor of the Azarah after it was received in a Kli Shares, and it is valid. 9. Since, according to Rebbi Elazar and Rebbi Shimon, the Kohen must bring the Kometz to the Mizbe'ach in his right hand, the Kohen's Machshavah while the Minchah is in his left hand does not make the Minchah Pigul. 10. According to the Chachamim, the Kometz must be sanctified in a Kli Shares. If the Kohen places it in his left hand before he places it in a Kli Shares, it is akin to the blood of a Korban spilling directly from the neck of the animal onto the floor of the Azarah, and it is Pasul. 11. According to Rebbi Yehoshua ben Levi, a Kometz may not be less than the amount of two olives, and the Haktarah of the Kometz on the Mizbe'ach may not be less than the size of an olive. According to Rebbi Yochanan, a Kometz may be less than the amount of two olives, and the Haktarah on the Mizbe'ach may be less than the size of an olive. 12. Rebbi Yochanan agrees that even though the Kometz may not be placed on the Mizbe'ach after nightfall, if it was partially consumed by the fire by nightfall it may remain on the Mizbe'ach after nightfall. 13. However, Rebbi Yanai says that Ketores which was expelled from the Mizbe'ach by the fire may not be returned to the Mizbe'ach, even if it was an entire piece that was ejected. 14. There is a doubt about whether or not this is the normal manner in which the limbs of the Olah are burned.
