SUMMARY

1. If the Kohen burns the Kometz with intent to burn the Levonah on the following day, according to the Charifei of Pumbedisa, the Minchah is Pigul even according to the Rabanan.

2. Rav disagrees with the Charifei of Pumbedisa. He asserts that even according to Rebbi Meir, the Minchah is not Pigul.

3. If the Kohen slaughters one of the two Kivsei Atzeres with intent to eat the Korban on the following day, that Keves is Pigul. The other Keves remains valid. If the Kohen's intent is to eat the other Keves the following day, both are valid.

4. Rebbi Chanina says that if the Kohen burns the Kometz of a Minchah with intent to eat the Shirayim and to burn the Levonah on the following day, the Minchah is Pigul.

5. If the Kohen burns the Kometz of a Minchah with intent to eat the Shirayim on the following day, everyone agrees that the Minchah is Pasul.

6. If the Kohen performs Kemitzah with intent to eat or burn, on the following day, a portion of the Minchah which is not normally eaten or burned, the Minchah is valid. Rebbi Eliezer disagrees.

7. If the Kohen performs Kemitzah with intent to eat, on the following day, less than an olive's size and to burn less than an olive's size, the Minchah is valid, because Achilah and Haktarah do not combine for the Shi'ur of a k'Zayis.

8. If the Kohen slaughters a Korban with intent to leave some of the blood over until the next day, there is a disagreement about whether the Korban is valid.

A BIT MORE

1. According to the Rabanan, a Machshavah on a Chatzi Matir does not render the Minchah Pigul. Nevertheless, since in this case the Machshavah during the burning of the Kometz was on the Levonah which is the other Matir of the Minchah, the Minchah is Pigul.

2. Rebbi Meir maintains that a Machshavah on a Chatzi Matir renders the Minchah Pigul only if the Kohen burns the Kometz with intent to eat the Shirayim the next day. In this case, the Machshavah was on the Levonah, and the Kometz is not the Matir of the Levonah. Therefore, the Minchah is not Pigul.

3. According to the Charifei of Pumbedisa, the Haktarah of the Kometz is Mefagel the Levonah, because both were placed in one utensil. In this case, one Matir is not Mefagel another Matir.

4. Rav maintains that the Haktarah of the Kometz is not Mefagel the Levonah. The Rabanan maintain that a Machshavas Pigul of a Chatzi Matir does not render the Minchah Pigul. Nevertheless, in this case, since the Machshavah is on the entire Minchah, the Minchah is Pigul.

5. Rebbi Meir maintains that a Machshavas Pigul on a Chatzi Matir renders the Minchah Pigul. According to the Rabanan, the Minchah is Pasul but not Pigul.

6. According to Rebbi Eliezer, the Minchah is Pasul mid'Rabanan.

7. According to Rebbi Eliezer, a Machshavah to eat or burn something that is not normally eaten or burned is Pasul mid'Rabanan because of a Gezeirah. Nevertheless, in the case of a Machshavah of less than an olive's size, the Rabanan did not enact a Gezeirah and the Minchah is valid.

8. According to the Tana Kama, the Korban is valid because only a Machshavah of Achilah or Haktarah disqualifies a Korban. Rebbi Yehudah maintains that the Korban is Pasul because of a Gezeirah that one might slaughter the Korban with intent to leave over all of the blood until the next day. This would disqualify the Korban mid'Oraisa, according to Rebbi Yehudah.
