DAF DISCUSSIONS - KESUVOS 11

Peretz Porter asked:

How does a woman become a mukas etz

Peretz Porter, Harrisburg, Penna. USA

The Kollel replies:

Rashi 11a (on the Mishnah) says that it occurs when "a stick becomes inadvertently inserted" into the Makom ha'Besulim. We also find that a woman can become Mukas Etz by hitting the ground forcefully (Rashi 36b DH she'Nechbetah, Yalkut SHimoni 1:109).
