Why does the Torah write here "ve'Hiktiru oso", in Pasuk 11 "ve'Hiktiro" and in Pasuk 16 "ve'Hiktiram"?

1.

Ramban (citing Yerushalmi Pesachim, 5:7): To extrapolate from "ve'Hiktiru oso" - that one may not burn on the Mizbe'ach a Korban that is Pasul; from "ve'Hiktiro" - that one may not burn on the Mizbe'ach the Emurim of two animals together. And from "ve'Hiktiram" - that one must burn all the Emurim of one Korban simultaneously. 1

2.

Oznayim la'Torah: The Torah writes "Vehiktiru oso" ? in the singular, because the main obligation is to burn the Cheilev, and the other parts are burned together with it. 2

2

Oznayim la'Torah: Like we find later in 4:26. In fact, the Torah sometimes refers to all the parts of a Korban that go on the Mizbe'ach as 'Cheilev', and Chazal refer to the entire batch as "Emurim'. See Oznayim la'Torah DH 'Oso', who elaborates further

2)

What are the implications of "Vehiktiru oso B'nei Aharon"?

1.

Kidushin, 36a: It implies that female Kohanim are precluded from burning the Chalavim on the Mizbe'ach. 1

3)

What does the Torah mean when it writes "al ha'Olah"?

1.

Rashi: It means 'besides the Olah' (which has already been brought), implying that the Olas Tamid is always the first Korban to be brought each morning. 1

4)

Regarding the phrase "Lechem Ishei Re'ach Nicho'ach la'Hashem", how will we explain the fact that here the Pasuk omits "Lechem"; in Pasuk 11 (in connection with the lamb) ? "Re'ach Ni'cho'ach" and in Pasuk 16 (in connection with the goat) ? "la'Hashem"?

1.

Sifra: We learn via a Gezeirah Shavah "Isheh" "Isheh", which the Torah inserts by each one, that each term applies to all of them.

5)

Why does the Torah write here "ve'Hiktiru" (plural), and in Pasuk 11 "ve'Hiktiro" (singular)?

1.

Moshav Zekenim (in Pasuk 1): Sheep are small, so one Kohen can burn (all the Emurim), whereas bulls are large, so more than one Kohen is required.

2.

Ramban: Refer to 3:5:1:1.
