In spite of the fact that the Torah writes (in Pasuk 11) "ba'Nefesh Yechaper" (Rashi). See also Sifsei Chachamim. It incorporates even the blood of Tamei species, but not all types of blood. See Oznayim la'Torah.

What are the implications of "Venasati Panai"?

Rashi and Targum Yonasan: It implies that Hashem will turn aside from all other occupations and spend all His time 1 on punishing the perpetrator of this sin. 2

Targum Onkelos: It means that Hashem will give vent to His anger against the sinner. 3
