1)

Why does the Torah insert here "Sheishes Yamim Ye'aseh Melachah"?

1.

Seforno: Since it is possible to build the Mishkan during the week, it does not override Shabbos, since it is only Mitzvos whose time is fixed on Shabbos 1 that override Shabbos

1

Such as B'ris Milah and Korbanos that fall due on Shabbos (Seforno).

2)

How will we reconcile this Pasuk with the Pasuk in the Aseres ha'Dibros "Sheishes Yamim Ta'avod"?

1.

Mechilta: When Yisrael do the will of Hashem, their work will be performed by others (on the4ir behalf); when they do not, then they will have to do it themselves. 1

1

See Torah Temimah, note 34.

3)

Why does the Torah write "Shabbos Shabbason"?

1.

Rashi #1: It means a meaningful rest and not a casual one.

2.

Rashi #2: To prohibit even Ochel Nefesh (preparation of food). 1

3.

Seforno: To prohibit even things that are not really Melachos, 2 so that one spends Shabbos indulging mainly in spiritual matters, in honor of one's Creator.

4.

Targum Yonasan: Refer to Vayikra, 23:3:0.1:2.

1

In the same way as it writes in Vayikra 23:34, in connection with Yom Kipur; as opposed to Yom-Tov, about which it writes (Ibid., 23:39) "Shabason", and where preparation of food is therefore permitted (Rashi).

2

As the Torah indicated (23:13) (Seforno).

4)

What are the connotations of "Kodesh la'Hashem"?

1.

Rashi: Keeping Shabbos is for the sake of Hashem and because He commanded it - not for any personal motivation.

2.

Mechilta: Unlike Yom-Tov, which is determined by Beis-Din - when they fix Rosh-Chodesh, Shabbos is fixed by Hakadosh-Baruch-Hu - every seventh day, and Beis-Din have no authority to change it.

5)

Why does the Torah repeat "Mos Yumas"?

1.

The first time it is to explain why Mishkan does not override Shabbos, 1 the second time it is stating the punishment for Chilul Shabbos.

1

Refer to 31:13:1:1* citing the Seforno.
