(Mishnah) - Chachamim: On Shabbos, the words of a deathly ill person take effect because he is not able to write, but this is not the case on a weekday.

R. Yehoshua: They said it on Shabbos and certainly on a weekday.

Similarly (the Chachamim rule that) one can acquire on behalf of a child but not an adult.

(Gemara): Some teach the opposite text in the Mishnah (that according to the Chachamim, it is only on a weekday that a verbal order takes effect, but not on Shabbos).

R. Yehoshua ben Levi upheld the original text of the Chachamim and says that R. Yehoshua argues that they said it about Shabbos and certainly on a weekday.

Similarly about the second discussion in the Mishnah, some teach the opposite text (that according to the Chachamim, one can only acquire on behalf of an adult but not a child.
